The BBC podcast, 'Crossing Divides', is bringing people together in a fragmented world. Across the BBC there will be stories of how people are uniting in spite of their differences, to see if they can find common ground. Reverend Andrew Symes is the Executive Secretary of Anglican Mainstream, which supports traditional understandings of marriage and sexuality in the Church. We introduced him to Chair of Swindon and Wiltshire Pride, Kristian Wheeler, who at the age of 46, has recently transitioned. Kristian, previously Ann, was brought up as a practising Christian and was in a heterosexual marriage for 16 years, prior to his decision to transition. Crossing Divides, produced by Holly Tajs.
